Start a conversation

Strategy decisions don’t begin with packages or proposals. They begin with a conversation.

This is a working discussion to see:

  • whether you have a strategy problem or a different problem,
  • whether Build is the right work,

  • and whether it makes sense to work together.

That's it. No obligation. No expectation of an engagement.

What this conversation is (and is not)

This is:

  • a focused discussion about your current strategy and conditions,

  • an opportunity to test your thinking against an external perspective,

  • a way to determine whether deeper work is warranted.

This is not:

  • a sales call,

  • a presentation,

  • or a commitment to proceed.

If we don’t think Build is appropriate, I will say so.

Who this is for

This conversation is most useful if:

  • you are a CEO or board leader,

  • the stakes are high,

  • and you sense that your current strategy may not hold up under the conditions ahead.

If you are early, exploratory, or looking for validation, this may not be the right step yet.

How to start

The simplest way to begin is an email or short note outlining:

  • your role,

  • the situation you’re facing,

  • and why you believe a conversation may be useful.

You do not need to prepare a deck or summary.

Schedule a 30-45 minute conversation

What happens next

If the situation appears appropriate, we’ll extend the conversation.
If it does not, I’ll tell you quickly and, if useful, suggest an alternative path.
Either way, you’ll leave with greater clarity than you had going in.

A final note

Strategy work only matters when leaders are willing to confront reality and make hard choices.
If that describes your situation, we should talk.
